Mackie DL1608 med iPad är en ljudteknikers dröm

Jag har sagt det förut men det är värt att säga igen. Att bygga upp fysiska produkter kring Apples produkter och då företrädesvis iPad, är en smart idé. Ljudteknikföretaget Mackie har gjort just det med sin nya mixer DL1608 som har en iPad som kontrollyta och annat. Det går dessutom att ta lös iPad för att kontrollera mixern på distans, eller styra den med upp till tio iPad på olika ställen, till exempel för monitormixning direkt från scen.

”Now you can take the iPad from the mix position and wander around the venue, tuning the system and mixing from any spot in the room. You can fine tune the monitor mix while standing on stage with the musicians.”
