InfoWorld har korat förra årets bästa inom en mängd IT–kategorier. På operativsystemsidan tog Apple hem titeln både vad gäller server– och klientsystem. Bland konkurrenterna om titeln tog man upp Linux, Solaris och 64–versionerna av Windows Server 2003 och Windows XP.
