Kom igen Jobs - matcha Gates gåva

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation har skänkt 15 miljoner USD till the Computer History Museum. Detta museum har funnits i Silicon Valley sedan 1996 och har en stor samling med datorhistoriska föremål. Gates hade följande kommentar till bidraget:

”The impact on our society of the computing revolution is simply breathtaking. It has changed the way we work, play, learn, and communicate. It's our responsibility to collect the artefacts and stories today that will explain this incredible change to future generations.”

Det finns två utställningar och en mängd gamla datorer att se i detta intressanta museum. Tyvärr har man idag begränsat öppethållande, något man hoppas ändra på om man får in de 125 miljoner USD man satt som mål för den pågående insamlingen.

Det är läge för Steve Jobs och Apple att bidra med en påse pengar för att se till att bevara sköna milstolpar som denna (original) Macintosh för framtiden.
