Apples molntjänst MobileMe fick en något skakig start men verkar ha mognat en hel del på sistone. Nu talar rykten om att detta relativt dyra paket med push, synktjänster och nätlagring, kan komma att bli en gratistjänst. MobileMe borde vara det kitt som håller ihop Apples plattformar, men för det krävs att åtminstone merparten av dess delar blir gratis och standard för alla användare. Som läget är idag håller Apple på att bli omsprungen av diverse olika molntjänster som sammantagna erbjuder ungefär samma funktionalitet som MobileMe.

The most, and probably obvious development being referred to is Apple’s massive new datacenter that is stationed in North Carolina, Maiden, North Carolina that is. Prior to MobileMe, Apple has had predecessors to the service (..sort of). iTools, in particular, was one of the service back in the day that Apple offered for free to customers.”
